Ruturaj Gaikwad (Maharashtra team Captain & Opener) created a new world record as he became the first batsman to hit seven consecutive sixes in a over [43 runs] in List A cricket, enrouted to a classy double century against Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy one-day quarter-final match at Ahmedabad on 28th November 2022 (Monday).
